Is the Sony KDL60EX720 Right for You?
Sony has just released the KDL60EX720 3D HDTV. I’ll be posting more reviews and up-to-the-minute information as they become available. I’ve been doing a lot of research, but so far, few customers have reviewed the Sony Bravia KDL60EX720.
Nevertheless, I found a couple of great video reviews of the KDL-EX720 line. I think you’ll agree they provide some pretty great information, both the good and the bad!
The KDL-EX720 line comes in at the low end of the Sony price spectrum. That’s a good thing if you don’t want to spend a fortune, although it does mean you won’t have every new feature available on the top of the line models.
In the reviews, people spoke very favorably of the KDL60EX720, although they did mention that with a very dark movie, they wished the screen was a little brighter.
On the other hand, the matte finish of the screen turns out to be a real bonus in brightly lit rooms (with the sunlight streaming in, for example) because it noticeably reduces glare and reflection.
Overall I do recommend the KDL-60EX720 as an excellent entry level LED 3D HDTV. The 3D glasses aren’t included, however, so put them into your budget if that’s important to you. Otherwise, I think you’ll be very happy with this HDTV.

KDL60EX720 Review
CNET recently reviewed the first model of the series to be released, the KDL46EX720. They really liked the TV, and particularly recommended it if it’s going to be placed in a bright room. While it does have a built-in Ethernet cable connection, WiFi requires the purchase of a USB plug-in dongle. Check it out here:

Hi, thanks for not posting fake reviews like I’ve seen on some other sites. The CNET video was quite helpful. I think I’m going to go ahead and order one now.
